You must be committed to Making a Difference.</p> <p>Design Engineer Intern Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Create pdf from .dwg files </li><li>Redline draft drawings - red to black lines from checkers </li><li>Fix 3D models from checker comments </li><li>Drop isometrics/spool from model </li><li>Build construction install packages. </li><li>Model 3D equipment </li><li>Model download/RFQ </li><li>Re-type specifications from client when mark-ups made </li><li>Annotate plans and sections (2D AutoCAD work) </li><li>Laser scan and use point clouds to 3D model </li><li>Visit field sites for hands on engineering </li><li>Learn pipe sizing and structural steel calculations </li></ul> <p>Design Engineer Intern Qualification/ Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications </li><li>Ability to work both independently and as part of a team </li><li>Experience with AutoCAD and Inventor is a plus </li></ul> <p>Experience and Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Candidate should be pursuing a degree in civil, mechanical, industrial or construction management </li><li>Candidate should have completed at least one year of the appropriate study </li><li>Candidate will have the opportunity to work for 40 hours/week during summer (full-time) </li></ul> <p>So, do you think you have what it takes to join The Systems Family?
