<p>Job Description</p> <p>Description</p> <p>SAIC is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join our team in North Charleston, SC.</p> <p>The DevSecOps Engineer will:</p> <ul> <li>Design, deploy, operate, and maintain secure Cloud products and services within a Cloud-based environment to enable development teams to deliver features in the most efficient way possible. </li><li>Maintenance and ongoing development of continuous build/ integration infrastructure. </li><li>Provide Source Control Management/Documentation, create and maintain fully automated CI build processes for multiple environments; write, build and deploy scripts. </li><li>Support CI/CD tools integration, operations, change management, and maintenance. </li><li>Support full automation of CI/ testing. </li><li>Support policies, standards, guidelines, governance and related guidance for both CI/CD operations and for work of developers. </li><li>Enable successful release management by moving code from Development and Testing environments to Staging and Production. </li><li>Work closely with software developers, production support, and information security to automate and support infrastructure and tooling in cloud-based platforms. </li><li>Provide guidance and apply agile and DevOps/DevSecOps practices to streamline product delivery and reliable operations of product. </li><li>Continuously identify opportunities to automate and save time. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Required Education and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree and two (2) or more years of experience </li><li>Proven experience with Atlassian products (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence). </li><li>Strong expertise in Ansible and Terraform for infrastructure automation. </li><li>Hands-on experience with VMware technologies (vSphere, vCenter). </li><li>Experience with ArgoCD for continuous deployment and GitOps. </li><li>Proficiency in administering and supporting Windows and Linux environments. </li><li>Experience with AWX/Ansible Tower for managing automation tasks. </li><li>Security+ certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of start date. </li><li>Must be a US Citizen with an active secret clearance and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI. </li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. </li><li>Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). </li><li>Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes). </li><li>Knowledge of networking concepts and practices. </li><li>Understanding of DevOps best practices and methodologies. </li></ul> <p>SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.</p> <p>Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters.
