<p>Our gourmet store located in Port Jefferson Station is actively seeking to add a FT Call Center Representative to their busy office team!</p> <p>Summary</p> <p>The Call Center Representative will be responsible for managing heavy phones with excellent customer service provided. Resolving customer issues and complaints and assisting with general catering inquiries.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner. </li><li>Follow communication "scripts" when handling different topics </li><li>Identify customers' needs, clarify information, research every issue and provide solutions and/or alternatives. </li><li>Seize opportunities to upsell products when they arise. </li><li>Build sustainable relationships and engage customers by taking the extra mile. </li><li>Keep records of all conversations in our call center database in a comprehensible way. </li><li>Frequently attend educational catering seminars provided by upper management to improve knowledge and performance levels. </li><li>Meet personal/team qualitative and quantitative targets. </li><li>Other duties and functions as assigned </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>HS Diploma or equivalent </li><li>Previous experience in a customer support role with high volume calls </li><li>Track record of over-achieving quota </li><li>Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening </li><li>Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types </li><li>Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively </li></ul> <p>We offer a comprehensive benefits program including Medical, Dental, and Vision, 401(k), 50% off store lunch, 25% off in store shopping and more!</p>
