<p>Job Title: Traffic Engineer</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>We are looking for a highly skilled traffic engineer with a Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering focused on transportation, highway engineering, or traffic engineering. The ideal candidate will possess 2-5 years of experience in traffic design, with a primary focus on traffic projects. Preferred candidates will have an EIT certification and proficiency in Microstation.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Support DOT and private sector projects with preliminary and final engineering design reviews. </li><li>Review and prepare engineering-related calculations. </li><li>Develop drawings, plans, and visual aids. </li><li>Review and develop cost estimates. </li><li>Prepare technical reports and memos. </li><li>Work on zone/traffic control plan sets. </li><li>Conduct office research, fieldwork, data collection, and data analysis. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering focused on transportation, highway engineering, or traffic engineering. </li><li>2-5 years of experience in traffic design. </li><li>Proficiency in Microstation. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>EIT certification is preferred. </li><li>Experience with DelDOT, PADOT, or MDOT is beneficial. </li><li>Familiarity with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and ProjectWise. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This position offers a hybrid schedule, requiring candidates to be based in Wilmington or Dover. The work schedule consists of three days in the office and two days remote, with Monday being mandatory in-office.
