The Nurse Residency Clinical Educator will oversee and manage including but not limited to, the Transition Nurse Programs, and International Nurse Program. The positions focus is on the daily requirements of these programs including management of accreditation requirement compliance, supporting program recruitment and retention, management of resident needs including preceptor selection and orientation schedules, seminar and training facilitation, and any unit/departmental recognition and celebration activities. This position is responsible in supporting new associates during recruitment, interviewing, on-boarding, and rounding with nurses and leaders while in the designated timeframe of all programs.</p> <p>The value youll bring to the team:</p> <p>Responsibilities include but not limited to the orientation/onboarding of nursing residents, transition nurses, and international nurse programs.</p> <p>Actively collaborate and engage in the entire orientation/onboarding process of new transition-to-practice nurses during their first year. This includes participating or leading development, coordination, managing, facilitating, conducting, and evaluating on-boarding and orientation programs for new associate.</p> <p>Ensures that transition-to-practice programs including preceptorship and mentorship are promoting employee retention.</p> <p>Validates desired outcomes and positive learning environment is achieved during orientation period.</p> <p>Promotes cost effectiveness through implementation of efficient orientation/onboarding practices.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>The expertise and experiences youll need to succeed:</p> <p>Master of Science in Nursing Education or Nursing Leadership.</p> <p>Five years clinical nursing experience.</p> <p>One year education experience (hospital or academic setting).</p> <p>Current registration with Florida State Board of Nursing as a registered professional nurse or licensure from another state with verification of application and eligibility for Florida licensure by endorsement</p> <p>AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification</p> <p>AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification</p> <p>This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
