This role requires strong project management skills combined with a working knowledge of access control systems, CCTV/video surveillance, and basic IP networking principles to effectively coordinate vendors, internal stakeholders, and technical teams.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Manage end-to-end security technology projects, including access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and related infrastructure </li><li>Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk registers </li><li>Coordinate internal stakeholders (Security, IT, Facilities, Real Estate, Legal) and external vendors/integrators </li><li>Oversee system design reviews to ensure solutions meet security standards, operational needs, and technical requirements </li><li>Track project milestones, dependencies, and deliverables to ensure on-time and on-budget execution </li><li>Lead installation, testing, commissioning, and close-out activities </li><li>Review drawings, scopes of work, submittals, and change orders </li><li>Conduct site walks and validate installations against approved designs </li><li>Manage vendor performance, escalations, and issue resolution </li><li>Ensure documentation is completed, including as-built drawings, system configurations, and handover packages </li><li>Provide regular status reporting to leadership and stakeholders </li></ul> <p>Technical Knowledge & Skills</p> <ul> <li>Working knowledge of access control systems </li><li>Working knowledge of CCTV / video surveillance systems </li><li>Understanding of basic IP networking concepts, including: </li><li>IP addressing </li><li>VLANs </li><li>PoE (Power over Ethernet) </li><li>Network switches </li><li>Bandwidth considerations </li><li></li><li>Familiarity with system integrations between security platforms and enterprise IT networks </li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with IT/network teams without requiring deep engineering expertise </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>3-7+ years of project management experience, preferably in physical security or low-voltage technology projects </li><li>Experience managing vendors, integrators, and multi-site deployments </li><li>Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills </li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced environments </li><li>Comfortable working in operational environments (corporate offices, construction sites, data centers) </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience with enterprise access control and VMS platforms </li><li>Experience in corporate, campus, or data center security environments </li><li>PMP, CAPM, or security-focused project management certification a plus </li><li>Familiarity with construction coordination and facilities workflows </li></ul> <p>Allied Universal is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
