<p>Guest Services Agent, Lodge Kohler</p> <p>Work Mode: Onsite</p> <p>Location:?Green Bay, WI</p> <p>Opportunity</p> <p>Responsible for extending a friendly greeting and farewell to guests and members and providing prompt and knowledgeable customer service.</p> <p>SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>Guest Services I:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Guest Registration/Departure</p> </li><li> <p>Prompt, cheerful and proper greeting of guests and/or members.</p> </li><li> <p>Register guest/member in and out of applicable software system(s).</p> </li><li> <p>Provide guests with information on the venue and resort.</p> </li><li> <p>Use guest name frequently.</p> </li><li> <p>Escort guests to their rooms with luggage.</p> </li><li> <p>Explain the proper procedure of the door lock system and emergency exits.</p> </li><li> <p>In the guest's room, hang any garments in the closet and explain the room amenities and place any luggage on a luggage rack.</p> </li><li> <p>Valet guest's vehicle if requested or give directions to parking areas for self-park.</p> </li><li> <p>Upon departure, remove luggage from guest's room and bring it to the lobby, (store in storage closet, luggage room if necessary).</p> </li><li> <p>Retrieve vehicle as requested.</p> </li><li> <p>Lodge Kohler Only: Provide complementary shuttle service in the Green Bay area.</p> </li><li> <p>Informational Services</p> </li><li> <p>Provide courteous response to special requests.</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledgeable about property, surrounding area, local attractions and shopping.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for the enforcement of venue policies and procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Respond appropriately during emergencies and disturbances (know who to contact, if outside assistance is needed, appropriate documentation, etc.).</p> </li><li> <p>Be knowledgeable of all H&RE Group programs, events and classes and respond to inquiries.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor lobby traffic.</p> </li><li> <p>Adhere to established safety procedures and guidelines.</p> </li><li> <p>Miscellaneous</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with venue coverage needs.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain a clean work area, including lobby, kitchen, storage closet/cloak room, and exterior building. Maintain furniture arrangement.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform miscellaneous clerical jobs as assigned.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for all opening and closing procedures when scheduled.</p> </li><li> <p>Complete special projects as assigned by leaders.</p> </li><li> <p>Lodge Kohler Only: Arrange and deliver all for-purchase and complementary amenities</p> </li><li> <p>Carriage House Responsibilities:</p> </li><li> <p>Proper handling of food items with use of gloves and proper use of knives and kitchen equipment.</p> </li><li> <p>Proper storage of all food items to temperature and labeled accurately.</p> </li><li> <p>Set up, maintain, and take down all food services, including continental breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening hors d' oeuvres and beverages.</p> </li><li> <p>Serve Carriage House guests and be available to arrange any other hotel services.</p> </li><li> <p>Clean, maintain kitchen pantry, wash dishes, and glassware and dispose of shift garbage.</p> </li><li> <p>Stock rotate and organize all daily/weekly orders received.</p> </li><li> <p>Complete waste tracking sheet accordingly.</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate the need of additional supplies.</p> </li></ul> <p>Skills/Requirements</p> <ul> <li> <p>Must be at least 18 years old.</p> </li><li> <p>Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.</p> </li><li> <p>Prior experience as a receptionist or in customer service required.</p> </li><li> <p>Guest Services I: 1-2 years of experience</p> </li><li> <p>A friendly, outgoing personality, attention to detail and high degree of accuracy desired.</p> </li><li> <p>Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.</p> </li><li> <p>Physical requirements include: walking, standing for extended periods, bending, reaching and frequently lifting up to 50 pounds. Some previous experience in guest services preferred. Work hours will frequently include weekends and holidays and occasionally include overnight shifts.</p> </li></ul> <p>Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.</p> <p>The hourly range for this position is $15.25.
