This temporary leadership position is focused on fostering a supportive, safe, and academically enriching environment while further enhancing a positive school culture and strengthening partnerships with families and the broader community. The successful candidate will bring a strong understanding of early literacy instruction, along with proven leadership and communication skills that inspire collaboration and continuous improvement.</p> <p> </p> <p>Responsibilities Include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Provide instructional leadership and promote high-quality teaching and learning, particularly in early literacy.</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee daily school operations, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Supervise and evaluate instructional and support staff.</p> </li><li> <p>Foster positive relationships with students, families, staff, and the wider community.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with district administration to implement policies and school improvement goals.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage student discipline in a fair, consistent, and developmentally appropriate manner. </p> </li><li> <p>Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and district policies.</p> </li></ul> <p> </p> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Experience as a school administrator (Principal, Assistant Principal, or similar).</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated understanding and implementation of early literacy instructional strategies.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong interpersonal, organizational, and decision-making skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with MT state education standards and school operations.</p> </li></ul> <p> </p> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Valid Montana administrative certification or the ability to obtain it.</p> </li><li> <p>Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, or a related field.</p> </li><li> <p>Successful experience as an educator, preferably at the elementary level.</p> </li></ul> <p> </p> <p> </p>
