This role supports daily DTC settlement and fail control processing for domestic markets across equity and fixed income products.</p> <p>The ideal candidate has hands-on settlement experience, understands regulatory buy-in processes, and operates effectively in a high-volume, risk-sensitive environment. This is a 3-month contract-to-hire role with strong conversion potential.</p> <p>Day-to-Day Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Support daily DTC settlement and fail control processing across domestic markets </li><li>Monitor trade clearance, settlement activity, and operational risk </li><li>Manage regulatory buy-in processes (Rule 204, Reg T, MSRB) </li><li>Monitor CNS obligations and remediate short positions </li><li>Liaise with Middle Office, Securities Finance, Repo/Funding, counterparties, and vendors </li><li>Manage buy-in notices via Smart/TRACK </li><li>Support international buy-in obligations as needed </li><li>Maintain high service levels and ensure timely settlement of trades </li></ul> <p>Apex Systems is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
