Endeavor to transform customer sales into lasting beneficial relationships. You will use your skills to develop capital project sales, aftermarket sales and other product sales to satisfy your customers' needs. This role requires excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively. You report to the regional sales manager within our territory.</p> <p>We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Professional to join our team, focusing on municipal and industrial wastewater solutions in the Omaha, Nebraska region. This role involves building client relationships, promoting innovative treatment technologies, and supporting technical sales efforts across Nebraska and parts of Iowa.</p> <p>Responsibilities of the Sales Professional position include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Promote and sell wastewater treatment equipment, systems, and technologies to municipal utilities, industrial clients, consulting engineers, and contractors </li><li>Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers to identify new business opportunities and support long-term growth </li><li>Understand and navigate the municipal procurement process and capital improvement planning cycles </li><li>Collaborate with internal technical and project management teams, as well as manufacturing partners, to deliver tailored solutions </li><li>Prepare and present technical proposals, budgets, and specifications for capital projects and service upgrades </li><li>Represent the company at regional and national trade shows, association events, client meetings, and vendor trainings </li><li>Stay current on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities within the Nebraska and Iowa wastewater sectors </li><li>Accurately track activities and sales pipeline using CRM tools and report to management regularly </li></ul> <p>Qualifications of the Sales Professional position include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in engineering, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field preferred </li><li>2+ years of outside sales experience, ideally within the water/wastewater, industrial, or technical equipment sectors </li><li>Strong understanding of wastewater treatment systems and equipment applications </li><li>Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills </li><li>Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities independently </li><li>Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce or similar) </li><li>Additional Information: </li><li>Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Omaha, Nebraska area </li><li>Willingness to travel frequently within Nebraska and nearby areas of Iowa (up to 50%) </li><li>Valid driver's license and clean driving record required </li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <ul> <li>Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Omaha, Nebraska area </li><li>Willingness to travel frequently within Nebraska and nearby areas of Iowa (up to 50%) </li><li>Valid driver's license and clean driving record required </li></ul> <p>#LI-YH1 #zryh</p> <p>Location: USA:NE:Omaha</p> <p>DXP is always looking for individuals who want to join a team of employees who have the desire to achieve remarkable accomplishments together.
