<p>Overview</p> <p>Position: Rehab Aide</p> <p>Location: Warrenton, MO</p> <p>Type of Employment: Full-Time</p> <p>Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00A-4:30PCompensation:$18/hour increases based on experience</p> <p>SSM Health Day Institute is seeking a Rehab Aide to work in our specialized outpatient rehabilitation program. We have ten centers across the St. Louis Metro area serving individuals recovering from a traumatic injury or illness who no longer require 24-hour nursing or acute rehabilitative care. If you like working in a dynamic, collaborative environment and are passionate about helping the neurological and medically complex patient, apply today to explore a new career opportunity with us!</p> <p>Why Join Us: (benefits for full-time at 32+ hours/week)</p> <ul> <li>Start Strong: Our mentorship and orientation programs ensure a successful transition </li><li>Recharge & Refresh: Generous PTO to maintain a healthy work-life balance </li><li>Your Health Matters: Comprehensive medical/RX, health, vision, and dental plan offerings </li><li>Invest in Your Future: Company-matching 401(k) retirement plans as well as life and disability protection </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Rehab Aide performs patient-related tasks assigned by therapist, including but not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Lifts patients to/from mats, treatment and tilt tables, wheelchairs, and other equipment appropriate to the facility/department. </li><li>Assists patients with transfer activities to all surfaces. </li><li>Assists patients in donning/doffing all appliances specific to the facility/department. </li><li>Positions patients in parallel bars and prepares patients for standing with appropriate orthotic/prosthetic devices and equipment. </li><li>Transports patients to/from therapy as needed. </li><li>Assists therapist with other patient-related treatment activities as appropriate and provides equipment. </li><li>Assist with patient-related activities, including equipment set-up and patient positioning in preparation for therapy session as outlined in the State Practice Act. </li><li>Maintains the department and department equipment in a clean and orderly condition. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED </li><li>Current State Driver's License in good standing required </li><li>Acquisition of a Class E license allowing for the operation of a bus is required within three months of employment </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li></li><li>CPR certification </li><li>First aid certification </li><li>Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy center </li></ul> <p>Additional Data</p> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer/including Disabled/Veterans</p>
