<p>Upfit Technician | Kansas City, MO (ITU)</p> <p>Regular Employee | Hourly Non-Exempt</p> <p>What you'll do:</p> <p>The Upfit Technician is responsible for the consistent and quality upfit installations of truck accessories and service repairs on various truck bodies.</p> <ul> <li>Complete consistent and quality installs of truck accessories </li></ul> <p>Including but not limited to lift gates, shelving units, tool boxes, body components and lighting systems</p> <ul> <li>Complete custom service repairs on commercial vehicles and flatbeds </li></ul> <p>service repairs on truck bodies</p> <ul> <li>Document the cause and corrections for all repairs </li><li>Fabricating custom mounting brackets </li><li>Read and follow detailed work orders, installation drawings, blueprints, etc. </li></ul> <p>What you need to be successful:</p> <ul> <li>HS Diploma or GED required </li><li>Experience in a service shop environment preferred </li><li>Experienced with vehicle mechanics, including electrical systems, hydraulics and basic fabrication techniques </li><li>PTO experience a plus </li></ul> <p>Why Aebi Schmidt Group?</p> <p>Our people are our greatest asset, and your success is our success!
