<p>POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT</p> <p>Project Coordinator</p> <p>Salary Grade 25: $93,896 - $113,337 (NYC)</p> <p>The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene, Inc. is seeking a qualified candidate to fill one position of Project Coordinator at the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS) to work across program areas and report directly to the Executive Deputy Commissioner. This position may be filled in either Albany or New York City</p> <p>The Project Coordinator will provide support for all activities related to the Opioid Settlement Funds, including working with the Opioid Settlement Fund Advisory Board (OSFAB). The Board is charged with reviewing annually and providing recommendations on how funding received by the opioid settlement fund pursuant to Section Ninety-Nine-NN of the state finance law shall be spent. The goal of the advisory board is to recommend investment in substance use prevention, treatment, harm reduction and recovery programs that provide support to individuals and families.</p> <p>Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Maintain knowledge of settlement fund allocation and disbursement, including tracking and monitoring initiatives; track related activities in other states. </li><li>Represent agency and assist Board Chair and Vice Chair with meeting preparation and running of meetings, preparing agency leadership for meetings, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and conducting post-meeting activities including analysis and planning. </li><li>Help ensure compliance with statutory requirements related to the Board and production of annual report. </li><li>Produce information, data and materials related to settlement fund activities, including working with others to disseminate through press and social media. </li><li>Assist with production of annual report. </li><li>Liaise with various stakeholders. </li><li>Other related activities. </li><li>Travel 25%. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Eight years of relevant professional experience, including experience in project management; OR </li><li>An Associate's degree and six years of relevant professional experience; OR </li><li>A Bachelor's degree and four years of relevant experience; OR </li><li>A Master's degree and three years of relevant experience; OR </li><li>A J.D. and two years of relevant experience; OR </li><li>A Ph.D. and one year of relevant experience. </li><li>Candidates must possess a valid license to operate a motor vehicle in New York State at the time of appointment and continuously thereafter. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Working knowledge of the OASAS system of care. </li><li>Experience working with Boards or other similar entities. </li><li>Strong oral and written communication; and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Ability to moderate challenging discussions around difficult subject matter, balancing divergent opinions and concerns. </li><li>Ability to analyze complex data and information and summarize for a general audience. </li></ul> <p>Location: 501 7th Avenue, New York, NY 10018</p> <p>Sponsorship Policy: Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
