<p>Crystal Springs Golf Club is seeking an experienced Equipment/Shop Manager to oversee the maintenance and repair of all golf course equipment and fleet carts. Reporting directly to the Golf Course Superintendent and/or Assistant Superintendent, this role ensures the reliability, safety, and efficiency of all equipment operations. The Equipment Manager is responsible for diagnostics, repairs, preventative maintenance, inventory management, and maintaining a clean and organized shop environment.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on all golf course equipment. </li><li>Develop and perform preventative maintenance programs for all equipment. </li><li>Communicate equipment maintenance and repair needs to the Superintendent. </li><li>Repair and maintain diesel and gasoline engines. </li><li>Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and electrical systems. </li><li>Maintain and sharpen reel and rotary mowing equipment as directed by the Superintendent. </li><li>Order and receive parts, track inventory, and maintain accurate repair records. </li><li>Train staff on the safe and proper use of equipment. </li><li>Maintain a safe, organized, and clean shop area. </li><li>Assist in planning for future capital equipment purchases. </li><li>Maintain fleet carts and beverage carts. </li><li>Operate heavy and light equipment as needed. </li><li>Perform snow removal duties during winter months. </li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. </li></ul> <p>Educational Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li></ul> <p>Experience Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Prior mechanical experience required; experience with golf course equipment preferred. </li></ul> <p>Special Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Valid driver's license. </li><li>Must have own tools. </li><li>Willingness to work overtime and weekends. </li><li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. </li></ul> <p>Why Join Us?</p> <p>At Crystal Springs Golf Club, you'll be part of a dedicated team committed to providing an exceptional golf experience.
