RGI, established in 1908, has the distinction of being recognized as the largest privately held aggregate producer in the United States.</p> <p>We have 86 quarries and 56 asphalt plants across Tennessee, Mississippi, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, Kentucky, Arkansas, Texas, Indiana, Illinois, and Ohio.</p> <p>Rogers Group is currently seeking an individual for a Systems Engineer I position in our Conway, AR Strategic Marketing Area. This position will be based out of our Conway, AR office and report to the Manager of IT Field Services. This position is NOT remote; you must reside in the Central Arkansas region. The focus of this position is providing end-user technical support and on-site assistance in challenging environments such as rock quarries and asphalt plants. Responsibilities include supporting desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and troubleshooting connectivity issues. This role requires hands-on work, using power tools, running cabling, mounting cameras, and installing equipment like televisions, often in outdoor settings.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Provide professional, positive technical support to internal customers both remotely and on-site. </li><li>Resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues (network, Wi-Fi, cellular, and serial devices). </li><li>Enter, update, and resolve support tickets while monitoring queues. </li><li>Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot PCs, printers, mobile devices, and other equipment. </li><li>Use power tools to mount equipment such as cameras, access points, and televisions. </li><li>Run cabling and perform basic networking tasks. </li><li>Coordinate with vendors for hardware, software, and cabling installations. </li><li>Collaborate with management to provide IT solutions aligned with business needs. </li><li>Communicate technical issues and solutions to other IT staff. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>2+ years of experience in end-user desktop support or a help desk role. </li><li>Proven ability to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction. </li><li>Experience managing Active Directory and Office 365. </li><li>Proficient in PC troubleshooting, break/fix, and network printer setup. </li><li>Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, Fiber/Copper Ethernet). </li><li>Comfortable working outside in challenging environments like rock quarries and asphalt plants. </li><li>Experience with power tools and mounting equipment. </li><li>Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. </li><li>Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team. </li><li>Clean driving record and willingness to travel as needed. </li><li>Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in diverse environments. </li><li>Flexible schedule availability. </li><li>Associate's degree or equivalent IT experience. </li><li>IT certifications (e.g., A+) preferred; ITIL certification is a plus. </li></ul> <p>Rogers Group provides extensive benefits, strong compensation, and a safe, drug-free working environment.</p> <p>As a Rogers Group employee, you will have access to our competitive company perks, including:</p> <ul> <li>Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance plus Health Savings Account with annual company contribution. </li><li>Company provided Group Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment insurance. </li><li>Retirement 401(k) with company contribution and match at one year of service. </li><li>Company provided Short- and Long-Term Disability. </li><li>Paid Holiday's including Christmas shutdown between Christmas and New Years Day. </li><li>Paid vacation available after 180-day probationary period and accrued based on years of service. </li><li>Annual performance-based merit increases. </li><li>Career growth/advancement opportunities. </li></ul> <p>RGI EEO Statement</p> <p>It is the policy of Rogers Group, Inc. to recruit, hire, and promote individuals based on demonstrated merit and qualifications.
