<p>About the role</p> <p>As an Automation Manager, you will make an impact by designing and configuring systems while continuously updating your knowledge of evolving automation technologies.</p> <p>You will be a valued member of the Life Sciences team and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data integration and transformation processes.</p> <p>In this role, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Design, program, and configure Rockwell PlantPAx systems and related software. </li><li>Provide technical support on PlantPAx and FactoryTalk Batch to customers and internal stakeholders. </li><li>Develop documentation including design specifications, user manuals, and operational procedures. </li><li>Implement and maintain automation strategies for industrial process control systems, including integration with MES. </li><li>Ensure compliance and continuous improvement by applying Rockwell best practices and staying updated on automation technologies </li></ul> <p>Work model:</p> <p>We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3-4 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Norton, MA. Rest assured; we will always be clear about role expectations.</p> <p>What you need to have to be considered:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience with Rockwell Technologies, specifically Rockwell PlantPAx. </li><li>Proven expertise in installing, troubleshooting, calibrating, and qualifying industrial control systems. </li><li>Strong background in Life Sciences with mandatory GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) experience. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to configure and maintain PlantPAx systems across multiple Life Science manufacturing sites. </li><li>Capable of leading and providing consulting services on best practices for configuring and utilizing Rockwell technologies. </li></ul> <p>We're excited to meet people who share our mission and can make an impact in a variety of ways.
