Do you take pride in high standards, sound judgment, and finding better ways to work?</p> <p>As an audit team lead in the Global Banking team, you'll:</p> <ul> <li>own and continuously refine the Global Banking risk assessment, using deep knowledge of your coverage area, emerging risks, and regulatory developments to maintain a dynamic, risk-based audit plan </li><li>lead a portfolio of audits and thematic reviews, delivering high-quality work and clear insights that connect themes across the firm </li><li>plan and prioritize work across the team, balancing resources and timelines, removing blockers, and coordinating with other teams </li><li>build trusted stakeholder relationships by explaining complex topics clearly and constructively, promoting risk awareness and sustainable remediation </li><li>develop and lead the team by fostering an inclusive, supportive environment that strengthens technical skills and core audit capabilities through feedback and collaboration </li><li>advance the use of AI and data analytics across your portfolio, enabling deeper, data-driven insights and close partnership with the Data Analytics & Innovation team </li><li>contribute to continuous improvement of audit methodology, tools, and ways of working </li><li>represent Group Internal Audit in regulatory meetings related to the Global Banking audit portfolio </li></ul> <p>Detailed salary information:</p> <ul> <li>New York: the salary range for this role is $170000 to $245000 </li></ul> <p>The expected salary range(s) for this role as of the date of this posting is/are based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level. Because together, we're more than ourselves.</p> <p>We're committed to disability inclusion and if you need reasonable accommodation/adjustments throughout our recruitment process, you can always contact us.</p> <p>Your expertise</p> <ul> <li>a degree in finance, business administration, accounting, auditing, or a related field </li><li>ideally 12+ years' experience in financial services, ideally in internal or external audit, risk management, or compliance, with end-to-end audit leadership experience </li><li>strong capital markets knowledge, including leveraged capital markets, corporate lending, mergers and acquisitions, real estate finance, and debt and equity capital markets, ideally within an investment bank </li><li>proven ability to lead teams and influence stakeholders across functions, cultures, and seniority levels </li><li>strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into clear, practical messages </li><li>strong analytical mindset, with experience using data analytics and AI to challenge data, validate insights, and assess outputs </li><li>a collaborative, inclusive leadership style with strong problem-solving skills and an innovative approach </li><li>fluency in English, with professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, ACCA, CISA, or CISSP considered a plus </li></ul> <p>About us</p> <p>UBS is a leading and truly global wealth manager and the leading universal bank in Switzerland.
