<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Bunker Hill Community College seeks a qualified Part-Time Pitching Coach to support the development of its emerging softball program. The individual in this role will provide specialized instruction to student-athletes and assist in the overall implementation of the softball program in alignment with institutional and NJCAA standards.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Develop and conduct pitching-focused training sessions that emphasize mechanics, consistency, and situational strategy. </li><li>Provide individualized instruction and performance evaluations for pitchers. </li><li>Assist the Head Coach with practice planning, game preparation, and in-game pitching decisions. </li><li>Contribute to the recruitment and assessment of prospective student-athletes. </li><li>Maintain accurate and timely communication regarding athlete progress, expectations, and program standards. </li><li>Ensure adherence to college, conference, and NJCAA compliance requirements. </li><li>Promote an inclusive, respectful environment that supports the academic and athletic development of a diverse student population. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree. </li><li>Competitive playing experience as a pitcher at the secondary and collegiate levels. </li><li>Coaching experience at the secondary and/or collegiate levels. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds. </li><li>Strong instructional, organizational, and communication skills. </li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <p>Salary: $4,000 total for the season.
