Our success depends on people who are committed to our purpose and have an appetite for progress.</p> <p>Our beautiful HQ in Stamford, CT is just steps away from the Stamford Metro-North Train Station and easily accessible from NYC.</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>We are seeking a highly capable and strategic Procurement Category Manager to lead sourcing and supplier management for Point of Sale (POS) materials and Rewards Program suppliers in a convenience store retail environment. This role will support marketing, customer engagement, and in-store execution by ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of retail signage, display materials, branded merchandise, and customer rewards items across a nationwide network of convenience stores. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in multi-location retail procurement and understands the unique operational needs of fast-paced, high-volume convenience store formats.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Develop and lead procurement strategies for POS materials (e.g., shelf signage, window clings, floor decals, countertop displays) and rewards program components (e.g., loyalty merchandise, gift cards, promotional items, fulfillment services). </li><li>Partner with internal stakeholders across marketing, merchandising, loyalty, and retail operations to align sourcing strategies with promotional campaigns, seasonal rollouts, and customer experience goals. </li><li>Manage a distributed supplier base to support hundreds or thousands of convenience store locations, ensuring scalability, service consistency, and rapid deployment. </li><li>Optimize logistics, warehousing, and distribution models to minimize lead times and reduce total landed cost for in-store materials. </li><li>Run end-to-end sourcing events (RFP/RFI/RFQ), conduct supplier evaluations, negotiate pricing and terms, and oversee contracting and onboarding. </li><li>Ensure high standards of supplier performance related to speed, quality, accuracy, compliance, and on-time store delivery, especially during key sales periods. </li><li>Evaluate and select partners for digital rewards, third-party redemption platforms, and e-commerce fulfillment capabilities. </li><li>Monitor spend, savings, and supplier KPIs using procurement analytics tools, delivering regular reporting to leadership. </li><li>Stay abreast of industry trends in retail marketing, loyalty strategy, and convenience formats, leveraging innovations to enhance customer engagement and in-store impact. Create and own an innovation roadmap of vending machine capabilities including age verification. </li></ul> <p>Who we're looking for:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business, Marketing, or a related field. </li><li>5+ years of category management or strategic sourcing experience, preferably within convenience, grocery, QSR, or multi-site retail sectors. </li><li>Strong knowledge of in-store marketing production and fulfillment cycles for retail formats. </li><li>Familiarity with loyalty and rewards programs, promotional merchandise, and customer engagement tools. </li><li>Skilled in supplier negotiation, contract management, and cross-functional stakeholder collaboration. </li><li>Proficient in procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Coupa, Ariba, Workday, iCertis, etc) and data reporting platforms. </li><li>Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Experience working with 7-Eleven, Military Exchanges and other related retail stores preferred. </li><li>Skilled in setting up companies stores and/or promotional mobile trailers. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experience sourcing for high-volume retail networks (100+ locations) with decentralized execution models. </li><li>Knowledge of sustainability practices related to printed materials, packaging, and promotional sourcing. </li><li>Professional certifications such as CPM, CPSM, or CIPS. </li></ul> <p>Annual Base Salary Range: $140,000 - $188,000</p> <p>What we offer</p> <ul> <li>We offer a competitive base salary, annual bonus (applicable based on level of position), great medical, dental and vision coverage, 401k with a generous company match, incredible wellness benefits, commuter benefits, pet insurance, generous PTO, and much more! </li><li>We have implemented Smart Work, a hybrid model of working that promotes flexibility in the workplace. </li><li>Seize the freedom to define your future and ours.
