This position offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that's constantly evolving.</p> <p>Main responsibilities:</p> <p>Albertsons Companies is one of the largest retail employers, providing approximately 300,000 jobs across 2,200 stores, 22 distribution centers, 20 food and beverage plants and various support offices. We operate in 34 states and the District of Columbia under the Albertsons banner, as well as Safeway, Acme, Jewel Osco, Shaw's and many more recognizable names.</p> <p>Starbucks Department Manager -This is a union position, and bonus eligible. You must be willing to work at any location within the district.</p> <p>Pay Transparency: The pay for this position is $19.625 per hour, but no less than the local minimum wage. Starting rates may vary based on things like location, experience, qualifications and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement. For internals in 464 whom are already making $19.625 will be eligible for a $0.625 premium per the CBA agreement.</p> <p>General Summary: Oversees implementation of Safeway's and Starbucks' merchandising programs. Responsible for pricing, displaying, ordering and inventory control within the Department. Responsible for the overall presentation, cleanliness and profitability of the Department, while providing excellence in superior customer service.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</p> <p>Responsible for Superior Service goals of the Department</p> <p>Supervise Department staff to include scheduling, training and assigning duties</p> <p>Implement Safeway's and Starbucks' merchandising programs</p> <p>Ensure standards of Department presentation and operations are met; including cleanliness and sanitation, inventory control, rotation, quality, ordering, variety standards, signing and seasonal schematics</p> <p>Ensure paperwork, as set by the Division, is followed</p> <p>Perform all other related duties, as assigned by management</p> <p>Ensure product quality is equal to Safeway's and Starbucks' standards</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Certified Starbucks Barista</p> <p>(1)+ year(s) as a Starbucks Barista</p> <p>High School education</p> <p>Highly motivated and team oriented</p> <p>Must have strong leadership ability</p> <p>Must possess strong Customer Service qualities</p> <p>Albertsons Companies - Equal Opportunity Employer</p> <p>We also provide a variety of benefits including:</p> <ul> <li>Competitive wages paid weekly </li><li>Associate discounts </li><li>Health and financial well-being benefits for eligible associates (Medical, Dental, 401k and more!) </li><li>Time off (vacation, holidays, sick pay).
