Apply today!</p> <p>Things You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Estimate and manage construction projects. </li><li>Mentor and train construction interns, project engineers, and field engineers. </li><li>Manage and review estimates. </li><li>Monitor employee training and certification. </li><li>Maintain recruiting, hiring, promotion, and corrective action. </li><li>Project, organize, and implement project budgets and work under contract. </li><li>Work to resolve procedures, complaints and construction issues. </li><li>Monitor and control project to ensure it is completed on schedule and within budget. </li><li>Investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures. </li><li>Formulate reports concerning work progress, costs, and scheduling. </li><li>Review, understand, and adhere to all union contracts. </li><li>Maintain insurable driving record. </li><li>Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental requirements. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering or construction management. </li><li>Five years of progressive estimating and project management. </li><li>Experience in management and road construction materials. </li><li>Exceptional interpersonal, problem solving, and technical skills </li><li>Ability to review and analyze financial information </li><li>Strategic thinking skills </li><li>Knowledge of Viewpoint software, Heavy Construction Systems Specialists (HCSS), Heavy Bid software and basic surveying and measuring equipment </li><li>Proficient Microsoft Office skills, superior in Excel </li><li>Ability to organize all aspects of the project and foresee and resolve project conflicts </li></ul> <p>Benefits</p> <p>At Sunroc, we value people.
