Operate and monitor plant operations control systems and maintain logs. Receive and respond to requests for maintenance service or repairs.</p> <p>EEO/AA/Disability/Veteran</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <ol> <li>Provides preventative or corrective maintenance. </li></ol> </li><li>1.1 Accurately identifies equipment needed. </li><li> <ol start="2"> <li>Boiler Plant Operation </li></ol> </li><li>2.1 Chemical treatment of boiler and associated systems </li><li> <ol start="3"> <li>Chiller plant operation </li></ol> </li><li>3.1 Performs operational checks on operating chillers </li><li> <ol start="4"> <li>Fire Alarm System </li></ol> </li><li>4.1 Respond to all fire alarm activations/smell of smoke </li><li> <ol start="5"> <li>HVAC </li></ol> </li><li>5.1 Understand all AHU operational parameters </li><li> <ol start="6"> <li>DDC system operation </li></ol> </li><li>6.1 Monitors systems for proper operation </li><li> <ol start="7"> <li>General Maintenance </li></ol> </li><li>7.1 Painting/ Patching </li><li> <ol start="8"> <li>Electrical </li></ol> </li><li>8.1 Maintains and operates the generator. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>EDUCATION</p> <p>High School graduate or equivalent.</p> <p>EXPERIENCE</p> <p>6 months of work-related experience or equivalent training in Plant Operations preferred</p> <p>LICENSURE</p> <p>Boiler Operators License or equivalent license preferred. The following licenses will be accepted: Any state boiler operator license or plumbing/ Pipefitter license.</p> <p>SPECIAL SKILLS</p> <p>Knowledge of steam boiler operation, HVAC, power generators, plumbing, painting/patching and general knowledge of trade skills</p> <p>YNHHS Requisition ID</p> <p>174082</p>
