<p>Seasonal Delivery Driver (Class A)</p> <p>This is a seasonal Full Time Opportunity (April - November). Perfect if you would like winters off! We are seeking a Seasonal Delivery Driver to join our team and help transport goods to and from our manufacturing plants, retail, and distribution centers. This position offers competitive wages, flexibility in hours, and a seasonal opportunity to work outdoors!</p> <p>As a Delivery Driver, you'll play a vital role in ensuring that goods are safely and efficiently transported and delivered. If you're an experienced, dependable, and safety-focused driver, we want to hear from you!</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Safely operate delivery vehicles (GVW over 26,000 lbs) and pull towed weight exceeding 10,000 lbs. </li><li>Ensure trailer hitch is securely attached and transport goods from origin to assigned destinations. </li><li>Organize goods and ensure they are properly secured inside the truck to prevent damage. </li><li>Safely unload goods at destinations and confirm with warehouse scans or signatures. </li><li>Help map out delivery routes and stay on the scheduled route for timely deliveries. </li><li>Communicate with dispatch as needed and confirm contents of shipment. </li><li>Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any issues. </li><li>Check weather conditions and road reports before departure. </li><li>Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle and perform routine maintenance (e.g., refuel, change oil, tire pressure checks). </li><li>Follow delivery schedule and take rest at appropriate times to ensure safety. </li><li>Maintain detailed delivery logs and track working hours. </li><li>Adhere to all traffic laws and weather/road conditions. </li><li>Follow company safety protocols and DOT regulations. </li></ul> <p>What You'll Need:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED (preferred). </li><li>Valid Class A or B driver's license required. </li><li>2+ years of experience with tractor-trailer driving (Class A). </li><li>Clean driving record with no moving violations. </li><li>Ability to pass background checks and drug tests. </li><li>Comfortable with vehicle maintenance (e.g., fueling, checking tire pressure). </li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc. </li><li>Proficient with GPS and other routing systems. </li><li>Strong sense of direction and alertness on the road. </li><li>Physically and mentally fit to drive and work long hours. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Vision of 20/40 (with glasses or corrective lenses) and a 70-degree field of vision in each eye. </li><li>Must have good hearing and pass a physical exam as required by regulations. </li></ul> <p>Why You'll Love It:</p> <p>Some of our benefits may include:</p> <p>Competitive Wages</p> <p>Day, Evening, and Weekend Schedules</p> <p>Tuition Assistance for eligible employees</p> <p>Scholarship Opportunities</p> <p>?
