Approximately 1 day on-site per week for training and administrative tasks.</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>Responsible for coordinating the activities of Insurance Follow Up team, assisting the Insurance Follow-Up Supervisor, acting as primary contact for insurance follow-up questions, and promoting patient satisfaction. Other duties as assigned.</p> <p>EXPERIENCE:</p> <p>A minimum of 5 years of business office experience in billing, customer service, or collections in a healthcare environment is required.</p> <p>EDUCATION:</p> <p>High School diploma or equivalent is required. Associate degree in related field is preferred.</p> <p>SPECIAL SKILLS:</p> <p>Maintains knowledge of payer specific appeal procedures. Maintains knowledge of payer denial reason and remark codes.
