<p>Job Responsibilities</p> <p>Job Purpose</p> <p>To provide academic assistance to students in order to improve students' skills in the designated tutoring subject area. Student assistance may occur one-on-one or in small groups in the Tutoring Center or other designated location, including online via Zoom.</p> <p>Job Functions</p> <p>1.Working under the guidance and direction of the Director for Tutoring Services, conduct tutorial sessions as determined by the needs of the student.</p> <p>2.Maintain familiarity with and skill in the content areas of current courses offered at the college.</p> <p>3.Maintain timely submission of contracts, bi-weekly time sheets, daily records, etc. Attend and participate in meetings, trainings, convocations, etc. as requested.</p> <p>Minimum and Additional Requirements</p> <p>Bachelor's Degree in the appropriate field of assignment OR any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities, have been achieved.</p> <p>Additional Comments</p> <p>The Technical College of the Lowcountry seeks to be the first choice for higher education in South Carolina's Low Country Region.
