<p>Akkodis is seeking a QA Engineer (Automation) III for a Contract with a client in Cupertino, CA(Hybrid). candidates must have strong experience developing and executing automated tests while also debugging complex hardware-software systems and supporting scalable test infrastructure.</p> <p>Rate Range: $70/hour to $76/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.</p> <p>QA Engineer (Automation) III job responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Developing and executing both manual and automated tests to validate functionality, performance, and reliability of complex health-sensing features on new products.</p> </li><li> <p>Strategizing, building, and maintaining robust, scalable test infrastructure to support continuous testing across multiple devices and systems.</p> </li><li> <p>Diagnosing and debugging hardware-software interactions, identifying defects, triaging failures, and reporting issues with complete clarity and urgency.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborating closely with development, quality, and cross-functional teams to provide fast, actionable feedback and influence test strategy and product quality.</p> </li><li> <p>Designing and recommending telemetry and logging improvements to enhance triage efficiency and support deeper system-level analysis.</p> </li><li> <p>Participating in post-mortem reviews to prevent recurring issues, while managing multiple testing tasks and aggressive timelines in a fast-paced environment.</p> </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field (master's preferred).</p> </li><li> <p>5-8 years of experience in hardware/software test engineering, including automated and manual testing for consumer devices.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong hands-on experience developing and executing automated tests (Python/XCTest), with the ability to debug complex hardware-software systems and analyze system-level failures.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent communication and collaboration skills with proven ability to work cross-functionally, manage device labs, and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.</p> </li></ul> <p>If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
