<p>Apply</p> <p>Job Type</p> <p>Full-time</p> <p>Description</p> <p>Edmunds Gastroenterology, a fast-paced gastroenterology office located off Papermill Drive in West Knoxville is currently looking for a full-time Patient Care Technician.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Take and record patient vitals and required additional information, verifying correct patient with correct chart and physician, using two identifiers...ie..name/DOB </li><li>Manage patient flow from front desk to exam room </li><li>Ensures disinfection and cleanliness of all clinic areas, triage equipment, exam rooms and waiting rooms </li><li>Keeps entry doors cleaned and disinfected </li><li>Supplies exam rooms, keeping inventory and ordering all necessary supplies </li></ul> <p>Full benefit package available, including PTO, Sick Leave, Medical, Dental, Vision, STD, LTD, Life Insurance, 401k with company match and immediate vesting, Critical Illness, and more!</p> <p>Job Type: Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm</p> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>The minimum qualifications required to successfully perform this position are the following: </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent </li><li>Minimum of 1-year work experience with knowledge of medical field-physician office experience preferred </li><li>Ability to communicate orally and in writing to patients, doctors and staff </li><li>Knowledge of Electronic Health Records and Processes </li><li>Experience with computers and EMR documentation systems </li><li>Experience with assisting patient needs </li><li>BLS or ALS certification </li></ul>
