<p>Audio Engineer/AV Tech</p> <p>Status: Full-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt, 11-Month</p> <p>Starting: August 4, 2025</p> <p>REPORTS TO: Theater Manager/Technical Director</p> <p>Schedule:?Weekly Chapel schedules are set; other calendar events vary and are scheduled one year in advance with rehearsal schedules generally available two weeks in advance. This is an hourly position with varied hours depending on the calendar and production schedule.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Manage, set up, execute, and tear down all lights, playback, and sound for all CHCA events (concerts, productions, chapels, special speakers, meetings, etc.) </li><li>Work with the Theater Manager to organize and maintain the theater space and all systems. </li><li>Audio engineer for weekly chapels, concerts, theatre productions, and events. </li><li>Manage basic video recordings and archives of all Fine Arts events. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Live sound mixing experience required--with experience on a Yamaha QL5 console and Sennheiser wireless equipment a plus. </li><li>Qualified candidates must have a strong background and understanding of theatrical and live music mixing techniques. </li><li>Experience with videography and lighting a plus. </li><li>Flexibility and a collaborative attitude as well as ability to work well with high school students in a Christian school setting is a must. </li></ul> <p>CHCA is an equal opportunity employer.
