The Unit also has a 2 bed triage and 6 bed postpartum area. Registered nurses are required to demonstrate competent care of the patient in labor, delivery, postpartum and newborn advanced fetal monitoring, breastfeeding education, neonatal resuscitation certification, advanced life support certification, and the OR scrub and circulating roles.</p> <p>Minimum Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Current Massachusetts RN license </li><li>Labor and Delivery experience required </li><li>Mother/Baby experience required </li><li>AHA BLSandACLScertifications required upon hire </li><li>NRPrequired </li><li>Evidence of recentEFMcontinuing education, or within 3 months of hire </li></ul> <p>Recommended Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>OR Circulating & Scrub experience preferred </li><li>Experience working in continuing care/special care nursery/NICUenvironment preferred </li></ul> <p>As a health care organization, we have a responsibility to do everything in our power to care for and protect our patients, our colleagues and our communities.
