We are looking for a Senior Manager, Outcomes and Data Analytics (Player-Coach) to join our team in our Old Lyme, Connecticut office.</p> <p>The Senior Manager, Outcomes and Data Analytics (Player-Coach) will lead The France Foundation's outcomes reporting and data analytics to ensure educational excellence and data-driven impact. This role is hands-on developing outcomes measurements, data analysis, and creating outcomes reports. They will be responsible for transforming how The France Foundation captures, analyzes, and leverages data to demonstrate impact to grantors, stakeholders, and accrediting bodies. Join us in shaping the future of association management, where our values serve as the cornerstone of our success.</p> <p>What You Will Do:</p> <p>Outcomes Strategy & Reporting</p> <ul> <li>Lead the design and execution of TFF's outcomes measurement strategy across all educational initiatives </li><li>Partner with internal teams to integrate outcomes into program design </li><li>Create high-quality outcomes reports for supporters and internal stakeholders </li><li>Ensure outcomes frameworks align with Moore's Levels and demonstrate impact on clinician behavior and patient care </li><li>Comprehensive knowledge of outcomes requirements and reporting expectations across grant supporters </li></ul> <p>Data Strategy & Infrastructure</p> <ul> <li>Lead the development and implementation of data standardization initiatives, including: </li><li>Data codebooks </li><li>KPI frameworks </li><li>Data governance practices </li><li>Oversee aggregation of data from multiple platforms (Zoom, LMS, Alchemer, etc.) into centralized reporting systems </li><li>Direct the expansion and optimization of Power BI dashboards to support real-time insights and reporting </li><li>Identify opportunities to improve data capture, quality, and usability across programs </li></ul> <p>Management and Mentorship</p> <ul> <li>Directly manage and mentor the Data Analyst, who is supporting outcomes and reporting functions by organizing data into dashboards for more efficient analysis </li><li>Provide strategic oversight, prioritization, and professional development for data-focused team members </li><li>Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organization </li></ul> <p>Key Measures of Success:</p> <ul> <li>Designing and implementing a robust outcomes framework that accurately measures the effectiveness of educational programs in improving learner knowledge, competence, and performance. Demonstrating a clear link between program participation and measurable improvements in practice or patient care. </li><li>Implementation of standardized data infrastructure (codebooks, KPIs, dashboards) across all programs </li><li>Successful aggregation of multi-source data into centralized reporting systems (e.g., Power BI) </li><li>Effective leadership of Outcomes Committee and Data-Up Committee, driving measurable process improvements </li><li>Mentorship of Data Analyst role, improving efficiency and analytical depth </li></ul> <p>This Role Might Be for You If You Have…</p> <ul> <li>Extensive experience designing or managing outcomes measurement frameworks. </li><li>The ability to keep projects moving forward by proactively managing timelines, documentation, and stakeholder communication </li><li>Demonstrated experience collaborating with internal team members, senior executives, and external stakeholders, communicating effectively in a matrix structured environment. </li><li>Ability to make data-driven decisions and solve complex problems </li><li>An innovative mindset with the ability to anticipate and prepare for multiple future-state possibilities </li><li>The ability to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving common goals </li><li>A detailed-oriented, hands-on self-starter mindset who enjoys working both autonomously and </li><li>Collaboratively </li></ul> <p>Basic Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in public health, data analytics, education, health outcomes, or a related field </li><li>10+ years of experience in outcomes design, analysis, and reporting. </li><li>Demonstrated experience personally executing outcomes reporting and data analysis (not solely overseeing), including development of reports, dashboards, and measurement frameworks </li><li>Proven ability to translate raw data into actionable insights and stakeholder-ready deliverables </li><li>Experience leading or contributing to data infrastructure initiatives (e.g., KPIs, codebooks, dashboards, data integration across platforms) </li><li>Demonstrated ability to lead while executing ("player-coach" model)-balancing hands-on work with team oversight and mentorship </li><li>Experience managing or mentoring staff and/or leading cross-functional teams or committees </li><li>Strong project management skills, including ability to drive timelines, manage competing priorities, and ensure high-quality deliverables </li><li>Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly to internal teams, leadership, and external stakeholders </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., data management, public health, education) </li><li>Experience in outcomes measurement within CME/CE, including application of frameworks such as Moore's Levels and linking education to clinician behavior and patient outcomes </li><li>Experience working with pharmaceutical/biotech grant-funded education, including understanding of supporter expectations for outcomes reporting </li><li>Participation in professional development or membership in organizations such as the Alliance for Continuing Health Professions, or similar </li></ul> <p>Where Do You Fit?</p> <p>Whether you are just beginning your career or are a mid- or senior-level professional, working at Smithbucklin will offer you countless opportunities to develop transferable skills, acquire meaningful knowledge and gain rich experiences at an accelerated pace. Employees will work a standard 40-hour week, with the possibility of additional hours based on project deadlines.</p> <p>Smithbucklin considers several factors when determining compensation, including a candidate's recent coursework, training, experience, and certifications, among other considerations.
