The District reserves the right to change this vacancy or not fill this vacancy based on further staffing changes, enrollment, or budget.</p> <p>Position: Extended Day Junior Counselor (Extended Day - Exempt) Location: Chelmsford Elementary Schools/Parker Middle School/Chelmsford Community Ed</p> <p>JOB DESCRIPTION: To assist in the coordination of the Community Education Programs to ensure proper instruction and activities for students REPORTS TO: Childcare Supervisor and Director of Community Education JOB GOAL: To assist in providing an enriching, exciting, and fun after school experience to the children enrolled in our Chelmsford Community Education Programs, ensuring all participants have a memorable time during any activities provided.</p> <p>PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ol> <li>Attend Mandatory Training before Extended Day Starts (TBD) </li><li>Working with children ages Pre-K-6th Grade in a positive and supportive manner. </li><li>Ability to work on the floor, lift over 50 lbs, work in outdoors during all weather conditions, stay on their feet, and other physical requirements as needed.
