<p>Overview</p> <p>We're looking for a licensed Zumba Gold instructor to lead classes for older adults and participants with limited mobility. We are determined: above all else, we are on a relentless quest to make our community stronger beginning with you.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Plan and lead group exercise classes incorporating warm-ups, core activity, and cool-downs </li><li>Set up equipment before class and store it securely afterward </li><li>Create a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere for members of all fitness levels </li><li>Track class attendance and note new or absent participants </li><li>Maintain safety in all classes following YMCA and national certification guidelines </li><li>Keep up with fitness trends and continuing education requirements </li><li>Communicate any safety concerns, equipment issues, or incidents to management promptly </li><li>Use provided microphone equipment during class </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Must be 18 years of age or older</p> </li><li> <p>Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification</p> </li><li> <p>One or more of the following qualifications:</p> </li><li> <p>National group fitness certification: ACE, AFAA, NCSM, or equivalent</p> </li><li> <p>Specialty format training: Zumba Gold</p> </li><li> <p>A warm, encouraging teaching style that connects with participants of all fitness levels</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to pass an audition with our fitness director - a friendly, low-pressure opportunity to show your teaching style</p> </li></ul>
