There is a strong emphasis on partnership, collaboration, and transparency, with regular communication from leadership fostering collective trust and shared purpose.</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>Genuine McCarthy Enterprises, Inc., is currently searching for a Vice President, Total Rewards.</p> <p>The VP, Total Rewards leads the strategy, design and execution of compensation, benefit and recognition programs to attract, motivate, and retain top talent. In our employee-owned organization, this role is critical in aligning rewards with our ownership culture, promoting transparency, equity, and long-term value creation for employee-owners. This leader is a key member of the HR leadership team and partners with all levels across the organization to ensure these programs reflect our values, support our people and drive business performance.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Total Rewards Strategy</p> <ul> <li>Develop and execute a comprehensive total rewards strategy aligned with the company's mission, values, and business objectives. </li><li>Manage and optimize the budget for total rewards programs, balancing cost with competitiveness and employee satisfaction as well as ensuring that spending aligns with organizational objectives and financial constraints. </li><li>Stay informed on industry trends and emerging practices in compensation and benefits to ensure the organization remains competitive. </li></ul> <p>Compensation</p> <ul> <li>Design and oversee compensation structures, including base salaries, bonuses, and incentive programs. </li><li>Lead annual compensation reviews, salary planning, and bonus processes. </li><li>Skill in conducting market analysis and benchmarking to ensure competitive compensation packages in addition to an understanding of pay equity principles and practices to promote fairness and compliance. </li><li>Ensure competitive and equitable compensation structures that reflect both market trends and internal equity. </li><li>Prepare and present detailed reports on compensation and benefits metrics and trends. </li></ul> <p>Benefits and Wellness</p> <ul> <li>Design and manage health, welfare, retirement, and wellness programs. </li><li>Evaluate and implement benefits that enhance employee well-being and align with a culture of care and accountability. </li><li>Continuously evaluate offerings to meeting the evolving needs of our employee-owners. </li></ul> <p>Recognition and Engagement</p> <ul> <li>Develop employee recognition and reward programs that reinforce organizational values and performance. </li><li>Promote an ownership mindset across the organization. </li></ul> <p>Compliance and Governance</p> <ul> <li>Identify and mitigate risks associated with compensation and benefits programs, including an understanding of employment laws, tax regulations and compliance issues related to compensation and benefits. </li><li>Prepare materials for the Compensation Committee and Board of Directors as needed. </li></ul> <p>Leadership and Collaboration</p> <ul> <li>Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing Total Rewards team. </li><li>Foster a collaborative, service-oriented approach that supports our teams and business. </li><li>Experience in managing projects related to compensation and benefits, including setting timelines, managing resources, and delivering results. </li><li>Partner cross-functionally with HR, Legal, Finance, senior leadership and external advisors to deliver integrated people strategies. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. </li><li>10+ years of progressive experience in total rewards, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. </li><li>Experience in construction, engineering, or similarly complex industries preferred. </li><li>Experience with employee ownership models, especially ESOPs, strongly preferred. </li><li>Deep knowledge of compensation and benefits design, market analysis, and compliance. </li><li>Proven track record of developing and executing total rewards strategies in alignment with business goals. </li><li>Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Attributes</p> <ul> <li>Passion for employee ownership and values-based leadership. </li><li>Experience in change management and communication in a growing or evolving organization. </li><li>Ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership and other key stakeholders to align total rewards strategies with business objectives. </li><li>Skill in building and maintaining positive relationships with employees, leadership, and external partners. </li><li>Strategic mindset with hands-on execution ability. </li></ul> <p>Genuine McCarthy Enterprises Inc. is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, including disability and protected veteran status.</p>
