<p>EPI Power is hiring an Electrical Procurement Engineer/ Electrical Purchaser to join our team in Oklahoma!</p> <p>This role requires the ability to work 6 days per week, Monday - Saturday (58 hours per week).</p> <p>EPI Power, LLC ("EPI") is a licensed electrical contractor and subsidiary of The Weitz Company that specializes in data centers. We believe our employees to be our most valuable asset, and we are committed to growing a diverse and inclusive culture that inspires, motivates, and continuously improves.</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare and issue Requests for Quote (RFQs) based on approved scopes, specifications, and material requirements. </li><li>Solicit, receive, and evaluate vendor quotations in coordination with procurement and project teams. </li><li>Create, issue, and manage purchase orders (POs) in accordance with project schedules and budget requirements. </li><li>Coordinate with vendors and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. </li><li>Track purchase orders, deliveries, and lead times; expedite late or critical items as required. </li><li>Monitor and resolve incorrect deliveries, shortages, damages, and discrepancies. </li><li>Coordinate with Accounting/AP to resolve invoice issues, pricing discrepancies, and credits/refunds. </li><li>Maintain accurate procurement records, logs, and departmental reports. </li><li>Assist with material inspections, delivery coordination, and site or warehouse support as needed. </li><li>Collaborate with project teams to support procurement execution throughout the project lifecycle. </li></ul> <p>What We're Looking For:</p> <ul> <li>Experience: </li><li>3-5 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role within a construction or industrial environment. </li></ul> <p>Electrical background is preferred.</p> <ul> <li> <p>Skills:</p> </li><li> <p>Strong understanding of purchase order processing, vendor coordination, and material tracking.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to interpret material lists, scopes, and basic technical descriptions.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong communication and follow-up skills with vendors and internal teams.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Proactive mindset with the ability to identify and resolve issues early.</p> </li><li> <p>Technology:</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient in basic computer software including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook</p> </li><li> <p>Ability and willingness to learn ERP and procurement systems (e.g., JD Edwards, Procore, Kojo, or similar).</p> </li></ul> <p>What We Offer:</p> <ul> <li>Competitive Pay </li><li>Comprehensive Benefits Package with Tax-Advantaged HSA and FSA offerings </li><li>Employer-Paid Short- and Long-Term Disability Programs </li><li>Employer-Paid Life Insurance </li><li>Generous Paid Time Off Provisions </li><li>401K Retirement Savings Plan with Company Match </li><li>Tuition Reimbursement </li><li>Fully Paid Parental Leave </li><li>Voluntary Products Including: Critical Illness Insurance and Accident Insurance </li><li>Corporate Wellness Program with Wellness Time Off and Rewards </li></ul> <p>Visa sponsorship is not available for this position at this time.</p> <p>The Company does not accept unsolicited resumes from search firms or agencies.
