<p>Piper Companies is searching for an experienced Wireless Network Engineer for a global tech company specializing in networking and security located in Raleigh, NC. The Wireless Network Engineer will be responsible for delivering enterprise wireless solutions through RF design, deployment, and on-site support. This is a hybrid role based in Raleigh, NC and may require up to 50% travel.</p> <p>Responsibilities of the Wireless Network Engineer:</p> <ul> <li>Perform wireless site surveys and RF design using industry-standard tools, including predictive modeling and on-site validation. </li><li>Provide operational support and troubleshooting for large-scale wireless networks in complex environments such as healthcare and manufacturing. </li><li>Configure and manage enterprise-grade wireless controllers and support end-to-end deployment activities. </li><li>Assist with wireless authentication setup and integration with network access control systems. </li><li>Travel up to 50% monthly to customer locations for design, implementation, and support engagements. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications for the Wireless Network Engineer:</p> <ul> <li>5+ years in enterprise wireless networking and RF design. </li><li>Skilled in wireless surveys (Ekahau, Hamina, or AirMagnet) and AP-on-a-stick. </li><li>Experience with wireless controllers, Layer 2/3 networking, and authentication systems. </li><li>Able to travel up to 50% for on-site work in complex environments. </li></ul> <p>Compensation for the Wireless Network Engineer:</p> <ul> <li>Salary Range: $90,000 -$130,000/year, dependent on experience </li><li>Comprehensive Benefits: Sick leave if required by law, medical, dental, vision, 401K </li></ul> <p>This job opens for applications on 08/18/2025.
