<p>Description</p> <p>Position: Supply Chain Technician</p> <p>Department: Purchasing</p> <p>Employment Type: Full-time</p> <p>Hours: 72 hours bi-weekly</p> <p>Shift: 8a - 4:30p or 7a - 3:30p - Every 5th weekend</p> <ul> <li>-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- </li></ul> <p>The Supply Chain Technician will collaborate with the Supply Chain Coordinator to manage the daily receiving of medical supplies in the Main Storeroom and distribute them to various areas, including the hospital, nursing home, physician offices, and clinics.</p> <p>Primary Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Receive, process, and distribute medical supplies. </li><li>Perform computer data entry for all supplies received. </li><li>Bar code labeling and stocking of supplies. </li><li>Sort and stock linens. </li><li>Process supply requisitions and issue supplies to departments. </li><li>Understand and apply knowledge of expense codes, department account numbers, and basic accounting principles. </li><li>Operate equipment such as powered walkie stackers, pallet jacks, ladders, and step stools. </li><li>-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or general education degree (GED). </li><li>Proficiency in computer skills. </li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. </li><li>Basic understanding of general accounting and expense codes. </li><li>Must be comfortable with the physical demands of handling and transporting supplies. </li></ul>
