<p>Position Overview</p> <p>As a vital leader within the Spectrum Center security team, the 2nd Shift Building Security Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring the safety and smooth operation of the facility. Overseeing a 3PM-12AM shift, you'll lead a team of Building Security Officers, manage shift operations, respond to incidents, and uphold a high standard of security service during events and day-to-day functions.</p> <p>Compensation</p> <p>This full-time role offers a competitive hourly wage of $18-$20/hour, based on experience and qualifications. Employees in this position are also eligible for benefits, including health coverage and paid time off.</p> <p>Core Values</p> <p>At HSE, we are driven by our core values:</p> <p>Integrity | Teamwork | Competitiveness | Candor | Accountability | Resilience</p> <p>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Supervise and coordinate Security Officers across assigned posts</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with the Security Management Team on operations and training</p> </li><li> <p>Operate x-ray machines, walk-through metal detectors, and Lobby Guard systems</p> </li><li> <p>Enforce policies and post orders 24/7 across the venue</p> </li><li> <p>Respond to incidents and write detailed reports using VenueAware</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct regular safety walks and lead building evacuations as needed</p> </li><li> <p>Build shift briefings and assist with departmental projects</p> </li><li> <p>Use tablets to manage dock and employee access lists</p> </li><li> <p>Provide coaching and performance feedback to part-time officers</p> </li><li> <p>Handle additional duties as assigned by management</p> </li></ul> <p>Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree or 4-6 years of supervisory experience in the security industry</p> </li><li> <p>Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality</p> </li><li> <p>Dependable, detail-oriented, and adaptable in fast-paced environments</p> </li><li> <p>Comfortable working under pressure and making quick decisions</p> </li><li> <p>Physically capable of walking, climbing stairs, and occasional lifting</p> </li><li> <p>Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays</p> </li></ul> <p>Additional Information</p> <p>This is a full-time, benefit-eligible position.
