Our people and programs deliver personalized, professional, evidence-based behavioral and developmental services to each participant, and peace of mind to caregivers that their loved ones are in the right hands.</p> <p>About the Opportunity</p> <p>The Diagnostic Clinician completes a full cycle of evaluations and assessments as well as makes treatment recommendations for individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.</p> <p>Duties & Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Conducts a series of tests to evaluate the patient in order to come to a determination in terms of diagnosis. </li><li>Assists in matters related to psychology, specifically to the provision of comprehensive services to people with developmental disabilities. </li><li>Participates as a member of the multi-disciplinary diagnostic and consultation agency team and provides initial assessments and treatment recommendations for individuals diagnosed with ASD. </li><li>Assists in the development of new programs where needed. </li><li>Completes a full cycle of evaluations, and/or initial assessments for treatment across assigned regions at the rate of $1,000 per assessment with the expectation of a minimum of 12 assessments per month to maintain full-time employment status. </li><li>Conduct annual reliability training for ADOS for the other evaluators. </li><li>Be available for consults when the Clinical Director is unavailable </li><li>Cover basic administrative duties while Clinic Manager is out of the office </li><li>Additional job duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>About Our TRUE Values</p> <p>Transparency in the work that we do and the actions we take to achieve our mission. All applicants will be considered for employment without attention to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran or disability status.</p> <p>Pursuant to applicable State and local laws, including but not limited to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.</p> <p>Requirements</p> <p>About You</p> <p>Experience & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Doctorate degree in clinical psychology from an accredited educational facility. </li><li>License to practice by the State of California Board of Psychology. </li><li>Two years of experience, in which a significant portion of time has been spent in diagnosing ASD. </li><li>Knowledge and experience using various assessment tools to diagnose and/or rule out autism spectrum disorder and intellectual Disability </li></ul> <p>Special Qualifications (Skills, Abilities, Licenses) include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>ADOS-2 (strongly prefer certification and extensive recent experience) </li><li>Autism Diagnostic Interview, Revised (ADI-R) (Preferred not required) </li><li>Developmental Assessment of Young Children, Second Edition (DAYC-2) (Preferred not required) </li><li>Stanford-Binet Intelligence Scales, 5th Edition (SB5), Abbreviated IQ (ABIQ) </li><li>Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children, 5th Edition (WISC-V) </li><li>Differential Ability Scales, 2nd Edition (DAS-II) </li><li>Developmental Profile, 4th Edition (DP4) </li><li>Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales, 3rd Edition (Vineland-3), Comprehensive Parent/Caregiver Form </li><li>Behavior Assessment System for Children, 3rd Edition (BASC-3) </li><li>Mullen Scales of Early Learning (Preferred not required) </li><li>Comprehensive Test of Nonverbal Intelligence, Second Edition (CTONI-2) (Preferred not required) </li></ul> <p>Physical requirements may include but is not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Constant visual stimulation, including close vision, distance vision, reading, computer work </li><li>Constant sitting; frequent up and down out of chair </li><li>Constant use of telephone, speaking, listening </li><li>Constant document handling, use of copier and fax machine, filing </li><li>Frequent typing, use of computer </li><li>Occasional walking around building </li><li>Occasional bending, reaching, stooping, pulling </li><li>Occasional lifting, carrying, moving of items up to 20 pounds </li><li>Occasional walking to, bending to enter, sitting and using upper and lower limbs to drive car </li></ul>
