They assist in establishing and maintaining a patient care environment that is clean, safe and conducive to patient/family wellbeing including concepts of relationship-based care.</p> <p>Shifts Available: 6:30 am-3:00pm; 2:30pm-11:00pm, 10:30pm-7:00am</p> <p>Status Available: Full-time, Part-time, Contingent/PRN</p> <p>Every Other Weekend and Holiday per year required for Full-time and Part-time team members.</p> <p>REQUIRED EDUCATION / LICENSURE</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED </li><li>Minimum of one year of previous direct care experience (acute or long term) or successful completion of CENA, PCT, MA, or EMT course. </li><li>Student nurses must have completed their nursing fundamentals class of a BSN program. </li></ul> <p>What you will do:</p> <ul> <li>Training is provided to prepare our colleagues for success. </li><li>The PCT assists patient in completing ADLs including: Bathing, showering, toileting, positioning, turning, transferring, ambulation using assistive devices and with feeding and menu selection. </li><li>A PCT will collects and send specimens including blood and blood cultures and inserts and removes peripheral IV catheters. They are responsible to record patient information and required data in appropriate areas in order to meet documentation requirements. </li><li>1 East is a locked 36 bed, secured unit and services patients 18 through older adult. </li><li>Services criteria includes the presence of life threatening and/or severely incapacitating symptoms and Potential of harm to self or others is considered serious. </li><li>Patients are admitted Through Psychiatric Access department in the Emergency Department at THAA.
