Assists full-time Landscape Gardeners with grounds duties. Assist with planting, weeding, mulching, deadheading, pruning, digging, raking, watering, trash removal, and sweeping. The applicant must commit to a position that is physically demanding and involves working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Duties of this position include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Picking up leaves and debris. </li><li>Weeding </li><li>Watering Plants </li><li>Mulching </li><li>Snow removal </li><li>Assisting with tree and shrub pruning projects. </li><li>Lawn care (mowing, edging, trimming etc.). </li><li>Picking up litter </li><li>Assisting full-time gardeners with other grounds duties. </li><li>Other duties as required. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT: 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience (Example: bachelor's degree = 4 years of directly related work experience).</p> <p>Requires little to no related experience.</p> <p>Preferences</p> <p>Experience or interest in horticulture or related field.</p> <p>Able to work at least 19-30 hours per week.
