A Janitorial Person must ensure he or she follows the company mission statement and values. The purpose of this position is to perform custodial work in offices, warehouses, industrial areas and other building interiors.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <p>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p> <ul> <li>Maintain a high standard of excellence. </li><li>Clean public and common areas. </li><li>Clean and polish all public and common area floors. </li><li>Maintain storage closets clean and organized. </li><li>Accept supply deliveries as necessary. </li><li>Report unit maintenance issues as per company procedure. </li><li>Walk all assigned areas to ensure all are clean and trash free. </li><li>Report lost and found items to Executive Housekeeper. </li><li>Able to move furniture as directed. </li><li>Ensure a safe working environment while on site. </li><li>Willing and able to perform all duties related to site operation as directed by management. </li><li>Maintain a sense of urgency so that all assigned areas maintain standard of cleanliness. </li><li>Personal timeliness. Be prompt with all assignments and appointments. </li><li>Use supplies and equipment efficiently and effectively. </li><li>Perform inventories on supplies. </li><li>Assist in solving guest complaints promptly. </li><li>Create strong, positive customer relations </li></ul> <p>Experience and Education Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Previous experience in housekeeping preferred, but not required </li></ul> <p>Other Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>A passion for cleanliness. </li><li>Demonstrated motivational skills. </li><li>Strong work ethic. </li><li>Hands on approach. </li><li>Work irregular hours. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <ul> <li>This job operates in both a professional office environment routinely using standard office equipment such as computers, phone, copiers faxes, and filing cabinets.
