This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to join a collaborative English department and support students as they transition into high school-level English coursework.</p> <p>The ideal candidate will bring strong content knowledge, high school teaching experience, and the ability to foster a classroom environment that supports critical thinking, reading comprehension, and clear written expression.</p> <p>PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Teach English, following the established curriculum and pacing guide </li><li>Design and deliver engaging lessons aligned with state standards and school expectations </li><li>Provide timely feedback on student work and maintain accurate records of student progress </li><li>Foster a respectful, inclusive classroom culture that supports student voice and growth </li><li>Collaborate with colleagues in the English department and participate in professional learning opportunities </li><li>Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff </li></ul> <p>COMPENSATION:</p> <p>Salary and benefits, including health benefits, per group contract and salary schedule.</p> <p>TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:</p> <p>Approximately August to December 2025.</p> <p>Valley Regional High School is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
