<p>Job Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Ensures safety, order, and control of inmates housed in the community hospitals and all other duties assigned by the Division of Security Management.</p> </li><li> <p>Inspects posts to ensure proper performance of duties.</p> </li><li> <p>Is up to date on security status of inmates assigned to the hospital.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures control of security keys/equipment at the community hospital.</p> </li><li> <p>Prepares, submits, and reviews operational and administrative reports.</p> </li><li> <p>Responds to complaints and concerns from hospital staff.</p> </li></ul> <p>1 Position Available</p> <p>Questions regarding the application process, this job posting or any other postings with the SCDC should be directed to:</p> <p>Recruiting and Employment Services (803) 896-1649</p> <p>Employment@doc.sc.gov</p> <p>Minimum and Additional Requirements</p> <ul> <li>U.S. Citizen. </li><li>18 and over. </li><li>High school diploma or GED. </li><li>Valid driver's license. </li><li>Tattoos: Must not be offensive and/or gang related or visibly located on the face or head.
