<p>Warehouse Person - Food Service Department (Part Time) JobID: 763</p> <p>Position Type:</p> <p>Classified II/Warehouse Person</p> <p>Date Posted:</p> <p>8/4/2025</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>BUSD District Service Center</p> <p>Closing Date:</p> <p>08/10/2025</p> <p>Additional Information: Show/Hide</p> <p>Please see attachment for full job description.</p> <p>Primary Function: Under general supervision, coordinate and participate in the receiving, storing, maintenance of inventory and accompanying records for warehouse operations and coordinate and participate in the delivery of District materials, supplies, equipment, and mail.</p> <p>Desirable Qualifications: Knowledge of: Methods used in receiving, storing, issuing, and keeping records of supplies and equipment; warehouse procedures; understand the use and meaning of requisitions, purchase orders, invoices and delivery slips; proficient skills in various computer programs; First Aid and CPR.</p> <p>Abilities: Read and write at a level sufficient to perform required duties. Understand and carry out oral and written instructions. Establish and maintain accurate records and prepare reports. Perform arithmetical calculations accurately. Operate a variety of machines and equipment including van, truck, forklift, hand-trucks, furniture dollies, platform dollies, pallet jack, duplicating machine. Establish and maintain effective work relationships with those contacted in the performance of required duties.</p> <p>Experience: Two years experience in shipping and receiving, warehousing, storekeeping, or stock control work in a responsible position preferred. Related experience utilizing a variety of computer applications.</p> <p>Must possess valid and appropriate California drivers license; safe driving record.
