Be a part of our dynamic team and see what it is like to be a Mechanical Engineer at Wisconsin Oven!</p> <p>Under the direction of the Mechanical Engineering Manager, the ME Intern assists in researching, planning, and designing mechanical and electromechanical products and systems, and assists in directing and coordinating activities involved in fabrication, operation, application, installation, and repair of mechanical or electromechanical products and systems by performing the following duties:</p> <ul> <li>Researches and analyzes data such as customer design proposal, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application. </li><li>Designs products or systems such as instruments, controls, robots, machines, and mechanical, thermal, hydraulic, or heat transfer systems with consideration for cost, performance, materials, maintenance requirements, appearance and impact on the end user. </li><li>Prepares technical drawings used by production workers to build industrial machinery to show technical details of the structure and components from all sides, with exact dimensions, the specific materials to be used, procedures to be followed, and other information as needed to carry out the job. </li><li>Specifies appropriate materials and components to ensure that the standards of performance, quality, cost and safety are met. Uses computer software to generate designs, models and documentation. </li><li>Provides manufacturing support, troubleshooting and continuous improvement. </li><li>Serves as a technical resource to other departments to ensure products and systems conform to engineering design and customer specifications. </li></ul> <p>The candidate should be currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree (BSME) from an accredited four-year college or university.</p> <p>If you aren't familiar with us, Wisconsin Oven Corporation is located in East Troy, Wisconsin.
