<p>Kforce has a client that is seeking an Engineering Manager in Miami, FL (Florida).</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Hires, trains, mentors, and manages at least one Software Engineering team </li><li>Hires or contracts talent based on demand driven by Digital Engineering leadership team </li><li>Manages technical software development processes across more than one application development discipline for software technology product lines </li><li>Establishes and ensures best practices for the software development lifecycle including solution architecture, build, and test </li><li>Engineering Manager will ensure that systems are stable and performing per SLAs, in collaboration with Platform & Operations </li><li>Works collaboratively with Scrum and Release Managers to ensure on time, on schedule delivery of projects </li><li>Ensures that appropriate quality processes are in place to deliver high quality applications, in compliance with all regulatory requirements </li><li>Manages the sourcing of technical resources, leveraging off-site/offshore resources where appropriate </li><li>As an Engineering Manager, you will foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, speed, innovation, and excellence while continuously elevating the quality and caliber of our product development organization* 10+ years of development experience </li><li>5+ years of Java EE experience </li><li>2+ years leading a software development team </li><li>Experience with Maven based Spring/Spring Boot (reactive programming a plus) </li><li>Experience with Microservice architecture and design patterns (event-driven a plus) </li><li>Experience with relational databases and stored procedure design (NoSQL a plus) </li><li>Kubernetes, Containers, GitOps and Jenkins experience a plus </li><li>Knowledge of SDLC methodologies, (Agile, DevOps, XP, etc.) </li></ul>
