Permanent</p> <p>Apply Now</p> <p>Title: Carpenter</p> <p>Location: Independence, MO</p> <p>Salary: $29.25/hr. to $34.56/hr.</p> <p>Schedule: 4-10's or 5x8's (may vary between days, nights and weekends)</p> <p>Website: Winchester.com</p> <p>Focus: The Carpenter is responsible for construction and repair to structural woodwork and equipment within the establishment, working from blueprints, drawings, or oral instructions.</p> <p>Carpenter Essential Job Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Construct, install and repair structural and interior components, including cabinets, partitions, doors, windows and frameworks. </li><li>Perform facility maintenance and upgrades such as replacing tiles, wall coverings, and installing fixtures and hardware. </li><li>Follow safety and compliance protocols including HAZMAT, fire protections, and proper handling of hazardous materials. </li><li>Use Maintenance systems and maintain work areas by operating CMMS software, completing tasks, and ensuring a clean, safe environment. </li></ul> <p>Carpenter Minimum Requirements:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Must have high-school diploma or equivalent.</p> </li><li> <p>Must meet one (1) of the following requirements:</p> </li><li> <p>Three (3) years' experience as a carpenter; OR,</p> </li><li> <p>Two (2) years' experience AND Two (2) year accredited Vo-Tech course; OR,</p> </li><li> <p>Two (2) years' experience AND Relevant military training.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to successfully complete specific environmental training and testing.</p> </li><li> <p>Must have working knowledge of basic math skills to make accurate calculations, measurements, and job estimates.</p> </li><li> <p>Must possess a valid state driver's license and be able to obtain a government driver's license.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to lift, carry and push up to 60 pounds using team lift and support devices.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability and willingness to work Weekends, including overtime.</p> </li></ul> <p>Location-Specific Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. </li><li>This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required. </li><li>This position requires successful vetting for unescorted access in accordance with U.S. Army and Department of Defense access policies.
