<p>The Trade Operations Supervisor (Internally called Merchandiser Assistant Manager) will lead and direct complex merchandising assistant work. In this role, you will drive the coordination between Merchandising, Logistics, and Accounting functions in the complete supply chain cycle.</p> <p>People Development:</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for preparing annual performance reviews for direct reports. In addition, assist MAs in creating annual goals. </li><li>Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion, coordinates work activities with other supervisors Collaborate with managers and others at Scoular to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs </li><li>Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals and supervisors, coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance and disciplinary actions. </li><li>Coaches team on internal and external customer interactions and problem solutions </li></ul> <p>Customer Service:</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for providing organizational expertise and strategy to coordinate the MA team's tasks and performance with finance goals and operation goals. </li><li>Support and improve operations of the departmental procedures, work to mentor other employees within their group. </li><li>Lead others to implement best practices and create solutions for complex business problems. </li><li>Responsible for ensuring that group is meeting the expected level of service through metrics and constant interaction with business. </li><li>Initiate new strategies, procedures and projects to enhance efficiencies and ensure flawless execution </li></ul> <p>Other Duties:</p> <ul> <li>High degree of responsibility as Lead on various projects for testing and training within the business unit as well as the division </li><li>Assist with CTRM related issues within the entire business unit . Knowledge of the Business unit Traders P&L to assist with complex issues or questions from Merchandisers to explain P&L impacts due to CTRM activity </li><li>Collaborates with accounting within the division to ensure procedures/policies are followed </li><li>Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience </li><li>Minimum of six year of related work experience </li><li>Ability to work with a wide variety of people </li><li>Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks </li><li>Customer service skills and positive, persuasive, and credible attitude </li><li>High level of problem solving and critical thinking skills for problem resolution </li></ul>
