<p>Description</p> <p>Job Title: Market Risk BA</p> <p>Duration: 18 months</p> <p>Location: JC</p> <p>Required Pay Scale: $60-$68/hour</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>BA in reporting space with good data analytics skills:</p> <ul> <li>Work with business users, SMEs, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements, gather feedback, and ensure data quality. </li><li>Gather data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and relevancy. Clean, transform, and prepare data for analysis. </li><li>Analyze data from various sources to identify trends and patterns. </li><li>Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Alteryx or other tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to visualize data and support business decision-making. </li><li>Identify and resolve data-related issues and challenges. </li><li>Collaborate with IT and other departments to troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate data projects. </li><li>Ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audience. </li><li>Provide ad-hoc data analysis and support to business functions as needed. </li><li>Proficiency in Alteryx, SQL, and other relevant data tools and technologies. </li><li>Python knowledge. </li><li>Excellent communication skills. </li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. </li><li>Prior experience and understanding of Enterprise Market Risk/ Finance systems would be beneficial & preferred. </li><li>Market risk knowledge (limits, interest rates, general business terminology) </li><li>VaR analysis </li><li>Investment reporting background (does not need someone with compliance / KYC reporting) </li><li>STRONG SQL (will ask about queries, joins, tables; etc.) </li><li>STRONG communication skills </li><li>Excellent knowledge of Excel </li><li>Mid-senior level </li></ul> <p>About Matlen Silver</p> <p>Experience Matters.
