<p>Job Responsibilities</p> <p>This position is located at the SC Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) - Office of Mental Health, Catawba Community Mental Health Center (CCMHC), 205 Piedmont Blvd, Suite 100, Rock Hill, SC 29730</p> <p>The Office of Mental Health's mission is to support the recovery of people with mental illnesses. We provide a complete array of medical and support services for children, adults, and families throughout South Carolina.</p> <p>As the York Adult Clinic Director, working under limited supervision of the CCMHC Center Director, you will direct, manage, plan, develop, and implement the therapeutic services for Adults and their Families for CCMHC in York County.</p> <p>Responsibilities for the York County Clinic Director:</p> <ul> <li>Direct and manage the delivery of medically necessary clinical services and operations for adults in York County (to include outpatient, rehabilitative services) ensuring their appropriateness, effectiveness, quality and proper coordination to promote continuity of care, thus supporting adults in their recovery as York Adult Clinic Director. </li><li>Provide leadership and supervision to adult services staff serving patients out of the CCMHC York Adult Clinic. Supervision of Adult Services include both clinical and administrative responsibilities, as well as continuous medical record review for compliance with all relevant policies and procedures. Supervision also includes ensuring that CCMHC productivity & quality standards for all CCMHC York Adult Clinical staff are met, and EPMS plans & evaluations and Position Description reviews for all Clinic staff are completed in an accurate, objective, timely & constructive manner. </li><li>Provide advanced and complex medically necessary clinical services including assessment, individual, family and group therapy and crisis intervention services to patients and their families. Formulate recovery-based plans of care with person centered goals and outcomes. Responsible for case management services for assigned caseload. Attend and participate in Treatment Team meetings/staffing's, including staffing with MD/APRN at CCMHC. Service may be provided in the clinic, in the patient's home, or other community setting. </li><li>Promote the fiscal solvency of programs by monitoring expenditures and revenue for the CCMHC York Adult Clinic. </li><li>Ensure proper collection of outcome measures and patient and family satisfaction surveys for all services at the CCMHC York Adult Clinic according to schedule. </li><li>Pursue continuing education & training. Maintain and improve positive professional relationships with CCMHC staff, & community agencies, as well as patients and their families. Work to overcome the stigma of mental illness & mental health services by providing education, training & support services to the community at large. Promote community collaboration, improve relationships in the community, and increase efficiencies through integration. </li></ul> <p>Minimum and Additional Requirements</p> <ul> <li>A bachelor's degree and relevant program experience. </li><li>Master's degree, in social sciences and 4 yrs. experience in the initiation and supervision of program evaluation regarding quality and effectiveness of Mental Health Programs, procedures, & policies within an agency, clinic, institution, section or district of responsibility, the development of mental health policies, programs and procedures, planning implementation and coordination of Mental Health program budgetary and staff needs. </li></ul> <p>Additional Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>In order to be credentialed for core services as a Mental Health Professional at the SC Office of Mental Health, applicant must provide evidence of clinical experience providing direct patient care. This experience may be documented as a practicum of a graduate program, or post - graduate clinical experience.
